Taika Waititi of "Thor: Ragnarok" Just Moved Up My List Of Directors & I Haven't Even Seen The Film Yet

"So we failed miserably & had a funny first 10 minutes & then a super-boring rest of the movie. But that's luckily why you have such a long time in post-production, because you can test all these things out & get the very best film that you can." That was a quote from one of the most truthful Directors I've ever heard, Taika Waititi, director of Thor: Ragnarok, speaking to CBR as reported by ScreenRant. Now this happens all the time. A lot of your big budget movies are mainly put together in post-production, but nobody ever admits it. This guy basically told you straight up that his first run at this was total crap until he toyed around with it, giving us this film, that so far is getting really good reviews. I've got a couple days myself until what I'm calling "Thorsday", & this little bit of truth has actually bolstered my excitement even more. Waititi is awesome for just laying it out there, the way it went down, with no spin. I'd rather hear about how you got there more than what you got any day. That's why some of the greatest films have almost even more interesting behind the scenes stories. It takes a certain type of Director to go back & truthfully let you know how they got from A to Z, along with all the "eraser marks" to go along. Like I said though, something like this just makes me want to see this film even more. What do y'all think of this unorthodox bit of truth from Waititi? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
