Marvel took to Twitter today to release the first Imax release poster for September first's Inhumans. It's definitely geared towards people who are at least somewhat familiar with Marvel's Royal Family. To those for which the name Black Bolt doesn't ring a bell, this poster might as well be blank. I think it's awesome, but I also pick up a significant amount of comic books every Wednesday. I'm not betting on the average movie-goer to have this info though. So while I think it's cool to use Black Bolt's insignia, my Dad would just see some squiggly, lightning bolt looking something's. All in all this is an awesome pitch to the fans, but we're going to need one helluva trailer now to get some Imax theaters filled on Sept 1. What do you think? Dig the poster?
