Thor: Ragnarok Featurette Is Leading Me To Believe Hela May Be One Of The Best Marvel Villains Since Loki

I'm not as hard as most on the Marvel villains we have had so far. In fact, I have probably enjoyed more of them than I have thought have been misused. However, as I was watching this featurette for Thor: Ragnarok, I realized that Hela might actually be on par with Loki. Loki obviously being the fan favorite villain so far hands down. I mean, first off it's Cate friggin' Blanchett. She's played royalty before, nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth. And Hela is nothing if not royalty. It's kinda ironic that the character of Hela is basically what would happen if you take Queen Elizabeth & cross her with Galadriel, Blanchett's character from the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit films. Check this out though. I'm even more pumped for this one, like I've mentioned I've already got my tickets. What do y'all think though? Rushing out for Thor: Ragnarok? Any thoughts on Hela going in? "Avengers: Infinity War" Going Back In Time & Who's Responsible For Hela's Invasion In "Ragnarok"

Two things here, both of which sound like they could potentially be SPOILERY for some. So if you don't want to know any plot details for Avengers: Infinity War or Thor: Ragnarok do not read any more of this. Move on to the next, it's nothing major, but you have been warned. The first is from ScreenRant reporting Central Casting Georgia's two new casting calls for Avengers: Infinity War. Both for Caucasian females who would play extras as 1960s engineers & secretaries/clerks. These are for small scenes, but let us know that at some point Avengers: Infinity will be taking a trip to the 60's. My mind started racing to all the flashback scenes we could probably see. Then I thought about the Time Gem & the Infinity Gauntlet, opening up numerous possibilities. So many possibilities, without context my mind is going too many different directions to really form an opinion. It's really left me more curious than anything. Next up, also ScreenRant, is a little more spoilery as it deals with the reason Hela is able to invade Asgard in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok is the fact that when we last left Loki he had taken Odin's place, quite literally. What he didn't know was Odin was doing a lot more than he knew to keep the realms at peace. Loki thought he had won, but had know idea of the thing's Odin kept at bay, Hela being the worst. So, basically the whole invasion will be Loki's fault. This, in a nutshell, came from the mouth of Ragnarok producer, Brad Winderbaum. This makes too much sense. It also gives an even better reason for Loki to play with the good guys again. He's at his best when he feels he's been bested by anyone other than his "adopted" family. With them there's almost hint of restraint, while anyone else get's Loki, "gloves off". I can't wait, already have my tickets. What do y'all think of these developments? "Thor: Ragnarok" Puts Out 8 Character Posters

I just got told I could buy my early tickets for the Thor: Ragnarok "Fan Event" at AMC on November 2nd. At the same time Marvel was releasing these 8 character pics for the film. Yes, 8.... Basically every character that matters got their own poster. You've got Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Hela (Cate Blanchett), Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Heimdall (Idris Elba), Odin (Anthony Hopkins), & Loki (Tom Hiddleston). The posters are really cool for artsy posters. Using the many different colors of sand for each character just shows the diverse amount of color that will be in this film. As we've already seen in the previews. If I had to pick one that stands above the rest, I would probably go with the Hulk's. The obvious choice of color in his poster almost looks like he's teleporting "Nightcrawler" style. More so however, I really like how they looked when I put them all together. It almost looks like a Marvel pop-art piece. What do y'all think though? Are you feelin' these? What's your pick of the litter? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
