On this day 85 years ago we were introduced to Dippy Dawg in Mickey's Revue. Years later, & now known as Goofy, this is still one of everyone's favorite three Disney characters. The Goof has starred in a number of classic shorts, some of my favorite being his numerous "how to" videos. Or more notably his "how not to" videos. Then there was The Goofy Movie, which brought Disney back into my life in a time when it was starting to fade due to being a teen. That led to Goof Troop, a series proving it wasn't time to give up on these classic characters, as if used correctly they're timeless. The new Goof has taken more of a comic relief position coming of as the Bill & Ted or Harold & Kumar of the group. Happy Birthday Dippy Dawg, aka The Goof, aka Goofy!!!!
