I don't know if this is still a thing, but when I was a kid there was one thing a cartoon did to prove it had "made it". A cartoon character's Oscar, or Star on Hollywood was getting a giant balloon in the 91st Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Ladies & gentlemen Olaf has made it. That's right not only will he star in Coco's opener Olaf's Frozen Adventure later this year, he will also be getting blown up & paraded through New York City Thanksgiving on NBC. Go Olaf! I'm going to tune into the parade now for the first time in awhile, & yes, it's just to see a giant Olaf. So is this a big deal anymore? I mean these balloons have always been the classics.
