BAO Is Going To Melt Our Hearts With Cuteness

BAO, the short that will precede Disney*Pixar's highly anticipated sequel, Incredibles 2  has just released a small clip. Here it is via Comicbook.com, & I give you a small warning.. You may just have a fatal cuteness attack. This little dumpling come to life is friggin adorable. Compared to a Gingerbread Man  story, I can't wait to see the rest of this short. I'm a really big fan of these beginning animated shorts. They've been a big thing for me since I was a kid. They died off with the great Roger Rabbit  shorts, but this new resurgence over the past years has contained some incredible masterpieces of animated film. Can't wait for this one, & more to come. Are y'all taken away with this adorable little guy too? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

First Look At "Incredibles 2" Upcoming Short "Bao"

I want a living dumpling so bad. This thing in friggin adorable! In an exclusive with Entertainment Weekly we got our first look at Bao , the newest Disney*Pixar short that will open Incredibles 2  on June 15th, & it looks like it will be overflowing with cuteness. Director Domee Shi describes the seven and a half minute short as a "modern day fairy tale, kind of like a Chinese Gingerbread Man  story." A Chinese-Canadian woman suffers from empty nest syndrome, finding joy in taking care of one of her handmade dumplings that comes alive. Said dumpling is so cute, I might question eating dumplings in the future. Only for a couple seconds though, because they're delicious. Y'all know I love my cartoon shorts. Obviously, I can't wait for this, & I already see so.e version of a stuffed dumpling being purchased in my future. What do y'all think? Excited for this cartoon short of cuteness overload? Put it in the, comments, like, & share.

Pixar Releases "Coco" Short "Dantes Lunch: A Short Tail"

Pixar released an animated short to "Coco" today called "Dante's Lunch: A Short Tail". In which we find main character Miguel's dog, Dante, on a quest to catch a rather peculiar acting bone. We get more of the feel of the animation.  As well as a look around Miguel's hometown. This is a delightful short hailing back to the days of Pluto. Check it out & tell us in the comments what you think.

Disney*Pixar's Coco presents "Dante's Lunch - A Short Tail" Despite his family's baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt).

Animated Short "Lou" Gets Poster

Disney released a new poster for "LOU". That's the animated short that will accompany "Cars 3". Directed by Dave Mullins & Dana Murphy, it's about a monster who lives in a Lost & Found box. It's supposed to have a strong anti-bullying message, & considering it's Pixar I'm sure it'll tug at our heartstrings as well. When I first saw this poster, if I wouldn't have read the title, I just thought it was a random stack of toys. So, as a poster I was not sure if it was the most effective thing. Then, my little girl saw it & lit up. She said, "I really like that picture daddy!". At that point I realized maybe this poster wasn't designed with the overthinking, adult in mind. Anyways, here's the poster, what do you think?
