I Also Missed Christy Carlson Ramano & Patton Oswald Joining The Cast Of "Kim Possible"

Along with this first teaser look at Sadie Stanley as Kim Possible it was also announced that Chrsty Carlson Romano & Patron Oswalt will be joining the cast. The new live action Disney Channel Original will debut in 2019. No details on Romano's character, but Oswalt will be reprising his animated role as Professor Dementor. Filling out the cast we've also got Sean Giambrone (ABC’s  The Goldbergs ) as Kim Possible’s loyal best friend, Ron Stoppable; Alyson Hannigan ( How I Met Your Mother , Disney Junior’s animated series  Fancy Nancy)  as brain surgeon Dr. Ann Possible (AKA Mom Possible); Todd Stashwick ( 12 Monkeys ) and Taylor Ortega will play fan-favorite villains Drakken and Shego, respectively; Connie Ray ( The Big C ) as grandmother Nana Possible; Ciara Wilson ( OMG! ) as new high school student Athena; Erika Tham ( Make It Pop ) who will play Kim’s childhood frenemy, Bonnie; and Issac Ryan Brown ( Raven’s Home ) as teen computer genius Wade. I was a fan of the animated show, & this cast has got some real talent involved. This has got me really curious. This Disney Channel Original is looking like it has a ton of potential. "Big Hero 6" Hits SDCC With Some Great Footage

I got to see the first episode of Big Hero 6 The Series , but in all honesty that pilot  was the only one. Though I really enjoyed it, I missed the others. So I really need to play catch up. However, I do love me some Baymax. So, if they felt these clips were enough for SDCC I had to check em out. First up was Mini Max. This had Scrappy Doo written all over it. They even imply it in description, only to totally, & quite hilariously flip the script. I liked the other two more, even though I saw them out of order. The second is Karmi's Fan Fiction. Apparently, Karmi is a girl that has a crush on "superhero" Hiro, but not so much "normal guy" Hiro. This is her Big Hero 6 fan fiction. There's even a payoff in the next video I didn't get, because I saw it out of order. I dug the "cutesy" animation style of this one though. I'm hoping that makes it's way onto a tee. That, & the subject of the third video in this lineup for that matter. The first look at Baymax's Overdrive Mode! He not only looked awesome, the effects afterwards were totally on point. With these videos powers combined, Big Hero 6  has jumped on the top of my catch up watch list. I've got some watching to do to get ready for these new episodes. What did y'all think? Did y'all dig these as much as I did? Let me know. Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Don Cheadle Voicing Donald & More Of What's To Come From "DuckTales" Hit SDCC!

Talk about way out of left field. Don Cheadle, Thanos survivor, will be hitting the booth to supply his vocal talents to none other than Donald Duck. Donald's going to get ahold of some voice correction tech, & Don is taking this role seriously. I think I might even wind up liking this little interview more than the part. The second video features some more of what to expect from DuckTales future. Which if you haven't been keeping up, is an amazing remake to the classic series, that succeeds on every level. We're gonna get some world building with this season. Cape Suzette makes it's new debut. If that sounds familiar, it's because it's the home to TaleSpin , another favorite from the 90s. This is where you'll get an appearance from one of my favorite characters, the pirate Don Carnage. We're also getting more to the nephew's mom hunt, as well as the debut of the remake's Magika. She's on the same quest from the original series to steal Scrooge's number 1 lucky dime. I've loved every episode of the new DuckTales so far, & I can't wait for more. As it expands though, I'm hoping we get some full remakes of the rest of the classic Disney Afternoon lineup. I could definitely use a return of Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, & TaleSpin . What do y'all think though? About this new look, as well as the new series as a whole? Put it in the comments' like, & share.

First Look At Lin-Manuel Miranda's Gizmoduck!!!

Gizmoduck was by far my favorite part of Ducktales. Everyday I'd hope he was in the episode I was eagerly awaiting to watch. Now those shoes, or wheels will be filled by Lin-Manuel Miranda of Moana & Hamilton fame. This first look is everything I was hoping for, & more. Now I'm just waiting for the return of Darkwing. Anyway, what do y'all think of the new Gizmoduck? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Funny Reveal For Live Action "Kim Possible" Cast

I can't speak for the upcoming live action reboot of Kim Possible , but if you were a fan a the original animated series you have to watch this. Original cast members Christy Carlson Ramano &  Will Friedle have some fun "auditioning" to reprise their animated roles in the new film version. It was a hilariously fun way to introduce the new cast of Sadie Stanley & Sean Giambrone. I don't know Stanley but Giambrone is that hilarious kid from The Goldbergs . This was an awesome way to announce this y'all. I hope this winds up being just as great. What do y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

"Hocus Pocus" To Return With Major Changes

A sequel to the Disney film Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, & Kathy Najimy has been rumored for a long while now. That seems a lot less likely with this news. Variety reports that Disney Channel has announced plans to remake the cult fave as a TV movie. David Kirschner, producer of the original, will be executive producer. A position that could mean a lot & could mean jack squat. It will be written by Scarlett Lacey (The Royals), but the real news is the lack of the Sanderson sisters. This new version will have a new director, & a brand new cast. The news that anyone else will portray these three witches has hit the interwebs by storm. A lot of people really hold this movie in a place in there hearts, my wife being one of them. I never really cared for it, except for the fact that Sarah Jessica Parker has never looked better. (At one point someone had to convince me it was her.) I didn't hate it, it just wasn't my thing. That probably leaves me more room to enjoy this new iteration, but at the same time this is a peculiar decision. Even I could sense the reaction to this, knowing the hopes for a sequel already out there. Anyway, what do y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Disney Channel Cheerleader-Zombie/Love Story/Musical On The Way

I had to keep checking the calendar to make sure this wasn't an April Fools Joke, but it's definitely May & this is definitely happening. THR reports production has started on Zombies, a Disney Channel Original Movie filled with song & dance numbers, to debut in 2018. Meg Donnelly (American Housewife) & Milo Manheim (Ghost Whisperer) will lead this musical set at Seabrook High School. Where all was good until students transfer in from Zombietown. Yeah, Zombietown. Then cheerleader Addison (Donnelly) & zombie football star Zed (Manheim) fall in love. Now these star-crossed lovers must bring their community together. Even after typing all this out it still doesn't seem real. Directed by Jeffrey Hornaday, choreographed by Cristopher Scott & Hornaday (both of Teen Beach Movie), & executive produced by Effie Brown (Star, Dear White People) & Hornaday, the film will also star Trevor Tordjman (The Next Step), Kylee Russell (Jump In), & Carla Jeffery (Curb Your Enthusiasm). Co-producers David Light & Joseph Raso came up with the story & wrote the script with Josh Cagan (The Duff). If you can't tell by my tone throughout this, I think this is a joke. This sounds like one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. In it's defense though, I thought I would never be interested in High School Musical, & it's one of my favorite musicals now. So though I will keep an open mind, I will not be holding my breath. Is there anybody who thinks otherwise on this one? I would love to hear why in the comments below.
