Disney's “Jungle Cruise” Gets An Official Trailer

Disney has been trying to capture the attraction goes movie magic of Pirates of the Caribbean for awhile now. Judging by this official trailer for their newest attempt in the form of Jungle Cruise, they might actually pull that off this time around. Starring guaranteed money, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson & Emily Blunt in an adventure filled Amazon adventure, I loved this trailer's ode to the ride that inspired the film. With The Rock taking the role of a scam of a tour boat Captain not too far from the actual attraction. Emily Blint will hire his boat being the ambitious treasure hunter she us. Depending on where the adventure takes us, this could prove to finally revisit the greatness that Pirates achieved. Loved this first trailer, can’t wait to see more. How about y'all? Can this match the level of greatness of Pirates of the Caribbean? Or will people be scared away ala Haunted Mansion? Put your thoughts in the comments, like, & share.

The Rock Gives A Look At The Amazingly Huge Set For "Jungle Cruise"

This video us great for two reasons. One if gives all the credit to where it should be, Walt Disney. This is all because of one man's dream, & I absolutely love that The Rock makes sure to acknowledge this. The second reason is the scope of this awesome, ginormous set that has been made for the upcoming Jungle Cruise film. In today's age of technology you just don't see that many things like this anymore. I would absolutely love to be standing in that spot right now just to soak it all in. Beautiful on so many levels, it's hard to think people made this. This has actually got me very excited for more to come on this film. We still got awhile to wait, but this is really promising for me. You can tell no expense is being spared on this one. I wonder though? What do y'all think about this mindblowing set? Paul Giamatti Joins The Rock On Disney's "Jungle Cruise"

Disney's upcoming attempt at capturing the ride turned film glory of Pirates of the Caribbean just keeps piling on more & more talent. According to a THR exclusive, Paul Giamatti will now be joining Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson & Emily Blunt to brave the dangers of Jungle Cruise. We also get some small plot details. Johnson will play a boat captain who takes his sister (Emily Blunt) and her brother (Jack Whitehall) on a mission to find a tree believed to possess healing powers. Throw in some wild animals and a competing German expedition as well just for fun. Giamatti was perfectly selected to play a crusty harbormaster. They're looking to start later this month and shoot through the summer. Beau Flynn, John Davis and John Fox are producing, as are Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia. Scott Sheldon is co-producing, with Jaume Collet-Serra, the filmmaker behind  The Shallows, The Commuter  and  Non-Stop. That's definitely not the best lineup of films right there, but fingers crossed. Either way, this thing just keeps adding talent in front of the camera. Giamatti is one of my favorite hit or miss actors. We he's on he's amazing, but when he's off.... Rhino. Anyway, what do y'all think of this addition or these plot details? Emily Blunt To Join The Rock For Disney's Upcoming "Jungle Cruise"

EW has confirmed Mary Poppins herself will be joining The Rock in the upcoming amusement ride flick Jungle Cruise . After Into the Woods  & with this & Mary Poppins Returns , one has to think if Emily Blunt is becoming Disney's go-to actress. Works for me, I've been all about Blunt since Edge of Tomorrow  with Tom Cruise. They also threw out Variety report that the Jaime Collet-Sera directed film will begin production in May. Michael Green, nominated for an Oscar for the screenplay of Logan , has wrote the most recent draft of the screenplay. Which was originally penned by J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay. All other details have been under wraps, save the fact that The Rock will be captain of a boat traveling down the Amazon. This is shaping up to contain a lot of talent. Can we capture Pirates of the Caribbean magic again or is that lightning in a bottle? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Disney Has Found A Director To Join The Rock For "Jungle Cruise"

Disney's taking another run at the whole "turning a ride into a movie" thing. This time it's the classic attraction Jungle Cruise. Co-Produced & starring the one & only "Rock", Dwayne Johnson. Now, according to THR, Jaume Collet-Serra will direct the action-adventure slated to start shooting spring 2018. Interesting choice. I've been slacking, & haven't seen The Shallows or The Orphan. I do recall being way more fond of the remake of House of Wax than I thought I'd be. As horror movies usually go, I enjoyed that one. That's the interesting part to me though. This guy has a strong horror background. Kinda makes me wonder what tone this thing's going for? This seems like the guy you would go to for a Haunted Mansion movie. I know this news has put The Shallows on the top of my watch list all the sudden. Any thoughts on this? Put 'em in the comments, like, & share.

The Rock Cooking Up "Jungle Cruise"

Do you smell what The Rock is cookin? According to THR it's starring & producing in Disney's Jungle Cruise. That's right, one of the original Disneyland rides is getting the Pirates of the Caribbean treatment on the big screen. With no director attached Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will not only star but produce with co-CEO of Seven Bucks Entertainment, Dany Garcia. Though this has been in talks since 2015, it has finally survived "development hell" & looks like it will be going for a Spring of 2018 production start. John Davis & John Fox of Davis Entertainment are also producing with Beau Flynn also in talks via Flynn Picture Company. This is definitely not the last you will hear from us on this one. I've been following The Rock since the WWE was the WWF, & every announcement he gives gets me even more excited to follow his next steps. This guy is one of the most entertaining men in the world, & getting better by the day.
