New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 TV Spot Gives Us Some Sibling Rivalry

If Frozen was the epitome of sisterly love it looks like director James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is going for the opposite of that spectrum. We're gettin some intense sister on sister violence as Zoe Saldana's Gamora goes toe to toe with fellow offspring of Thanos, Karen Gillian's Nebula. May 4th can't come fast enough. That's the date for AMC theater's Double Feature of Guardians of the Galaxy immediately followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. Are you excited for this sequel? Let us know in the comments.

New Thor: Ragnarok Poster Making Monday More MARVELous

The acid trip that began with Doctor Strange & seems to be present in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is not coming to an end soon. Especially if you take into consideration this new Thor: Ragnarok poster. In it you get to see Thor's helmet, not seen since the '80's Adventures in Babysitting. You also get a kaleidoscope of colors that if you added a little circle a dancing bears around it you would have the long lost Grateful Dead album cover art. I still miss those old artsy posters from back in the day, but I like how this poster feels big. Between the poster & the trailer from earlier that's what I can really get out of this Thor sequel. We're going for BIG. Let us know in the comments what you think of this poster.

Marvel Releases Thor-Ragnarok Teaser Trailer

What better way to start Monday? Marvel has released a new teaser trailer for Thor-Ragnarok Almost two minutes long, this is more of a trailer than a teaser, & that's probably due to what seems like the sheer size of this film. It sets up all the whys perfectly. I think it really sets everything up nicely, giving you a sense for what's going on without really giving anything awaybat all. If you were put off by the colorfullness of the new Guardians of the Galaxy,  this probably won't make you feel any more at ease as this definitely ups the color palette of The Dark World. I myself think this thing was amazing. It's a teaser like a food expo. Where you get a little taste of so many things it should be overwhelming, but they're in such bite size tastes that you still leave hungry. Everything's in here, Thor, Hela, Goldblum, & finally, the Incredible Hulk. In fact let me shut up so you can check it out. Let me know in the comments what you think, like & share.

Thor Ragnarok is slated for release July 28, 2017. Directed by Taika Waititi. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Jamie Alexander, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Benedict Cumberbatch, & Karl Urban.

Daredevil Season 3 To Start Filming Late 2017

Appearing on Film and Telly Stuff With Luke and Al, Charlie Cox was asked about The Man Without Fear. To which he confirmed filming's on its way. His exact words were, "I do that later in the year. We'll go back and do that." I'm going to guess that puts it in the time frame coming out next year. So that gives us about a year probably. Give or take three months, to impatiently anticipate and make guesses on where we go from here. We've done The Hand so much that The Defenders is probably the end of them. I'm figuring the easiest choice would be Bullseye. Just him being the most known. In fact, at one point according to Collider, Cox told ScreenGeek that he himself would even love to see Bullseye at some point. As for me, no matter what they do I just hope that this season 3 gets us to some form of Shadowland in season 4. Shadowland was a 2010 Marvel comic storyline where Daredevil comes back to Hell's Kitchen after becoming the leader of The Hand. He kind of becomes like a cold-blooded vigilante type anyway that's really making the story simplified. At some point it starts to get all "comicbooky", so I figured they'd have to reel it in a little bit as Marvel Studios tends to do anyway. But man, it's an awesome story to work with. What do you all think? Any ideas for what you want to see in Daredevil's future? Leave it in the comments. Like & Share.

"Cloak & Dagger" & "New Warriors" Coming to Freeform

Marvel has announced their first comedic television series in Marvel's New Warriors. Airing some time in 2018, Freeform has put in an order for ten 30-minute episodes. It's about six young people with powers living & working together. If your thinking Real World or Friends with super powers you're probably not that far off. The only other real details are their powers will be on the other side of the spectrum of skillsets you see from The Avengers, & the announcement of first team member Squirrel Girl. Yes, everyone's fan-favorite the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl will unleash her squirrel powers off the pages of Marvel comics into live-action. This was hot off the announcement having ten episodes of Marvel's Cloak & Dagger for season one also, coming sometime next year to Freeform. This one is described as an interracial love story aimed at young adults. While Olivia Holt's Tandy Bowen (Dagger) can emit light daggers while love interest Aubrey Joseph's Tyrone Johnson (Cloak) can engulf others in darkness & in the comics can use this as a means of teleportation. These series will be co-produced by ABC Signature Studios & Marvel Television. Jeph Loeb & Jim Chory of Marvel's The Punisher & Marvel's The Defenders will serve as executive producers. I've definitely got my eyes on these & will bring you more as it unfolds.

Marvel's The Defenders Gets a Teaser & a Date

This teaser is the definition of teaser. You will know nothing about this series after viewing this. However, you will see the title's team of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, & Danny Rand standing in an elevator belonging to the one thing they all have in common, Midland Circle Financial. That is all you will see though, as at the 13 second mark Jessica Jones turns around & destroys the elevator's camera. I think the coolest part about this trailer lies in the delivery system of the release date. I'll give you a hint, the release date is August 18th of this year. I knew this going in & still had to look for it. I've impatiently waited for all of these & you can bet I'll be impatiently waiting for this one to.

Inhumans Medusa Missing Something

So @Hawaii_isla808 has been releasing set photos from Waikiki Beach for Marvel's Inhumans series debuting on Imax Sept. 1 & one just so happened to catch my eye. As you could probably tell by the title of this article it involves Serinda Swan's Medusa & yes, she is missing something. What is that something you ask? Her hair. While still sporting red, it's been shaved to almost nothing. For most characters I would just think, okay, they're changing her look up a little. It wouldn't be the first or last time we get an appearance change from comic to film. This one however has major significance in the fact that Medusa's power is full control of her unbreakable hair. Quite a lame power set if you don't have the hair in the first place. Now I'm all for the rumor the hair will be CGI in the long run, which makes sense as it moves around & there's a lot of it. That's a rumor until we see otherwise though, making me think we might have a powered down Inhuman team. Hopefully we get a trailer soon & put some of this speculation to rest. Let us know in the comments what you think of Medusa's hair or lack there of? While you're there like & share.

Spidey Staying At MCU for at Least 3 More Films

More great news for the wall-crawler. According to Forbes at Cinemacon Amy Pascal confirmed a sequel planned within the MCU for release in 2019. While noting anything beyond this remains uncertain, she made sure to add that the deal between Sony & Marvel Studios has been extended to include additional films. Going on to also say all sides expect these movies to be very lucrative. Well.... yeah. It's no secret Spiderman was dying over its Sony. This deal, just with "Civil War" breathed life back into what was starting to become a somewhat tiresome road to get back and stay on. With the biggest Spidey success being Spider-Man 3, they've been downhill from there. That's coming from someone who really liked the "Amazing Spider-Man". Even if the rest of the movie goers seemed not to want to watch Uncle Ben die again. Amazing Spider-Man 2 was a whole other story looking like it was trying to set up sequels more than standing on its own and that's never a good sign for any film like or not. So what do you think? Spider-Man in the MCU for good couple films and move on, or are you just tired of the friendly neighborhood Spider? Comment below and don't forget to like and share

New International Posters for Guardians Vol. 2

A present from James Gunn today via his Twitter account. He released the international posters for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. I've got them all collaged down there at the bottom. The group one's got a pretty cool album cover vibe. The single ones are random head shots with a 80s, early 90s wash over them. I'm definitely not multi-lingual so I can't read them at all. That being said they look like they'd make some awesome "Kaiju Battle" posters. What do you think? Would you go see this epic kaiju battle? Or you can just say what you think of the posters. Comment below & don't forget to like & share.

Spiderman Homecoming Trailer is Here!!

"Spiderman Homecoming" trailer just dropped & this is one amazing Spiderman trailer. See what I did there? If you weren't excited about this outing of your friendly neighborhood hero,  you will be after this. Sony wants you to know this is a MCU movie. We knew we were getting Tony Stark from the last trailer, but this answers the question of will he suit up. It gives us plenty of wall crawler action as well, but much more to my delight, this trailer gives us more Keaton as the Vulture & Adrian Toomes. Keaton is a major reason for my excitment on this one as he elevates everything he's in. Probably the biggest highlight though is during an epic ferry save we get a glimpse of the Spidey's first superhero team-up, a Marvel staple in the comics where the web-head teams up with another superhero. "Spiderman Homecoming" hits theaters July 7 this year, & yes, that is a Marvel Studios logo over the title in the end. Share, leave a comment & let us know what you think of the trailer.

Imax Sets Date for Marvel's Inhumans

Imax released the date for the arrival of Marvel's Inhumans. The royal family will hit the enormous screens of Imax theaters in the form of a two episode pilot on Friday, September 1st. This will pop off the series full eight episodes later this fall on ABC. I'm a fan of Marvel's Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC. Though I will be the first to admit that it's not the best series ever. In fact, sometimes it's bad, but overall watchable. I've followed a lot worse actual comic book storylines. I guess what I'm saying when it really gets down to it is, though enjoyable, I really hope this outing is better than that one.

New Spiderman Homecoming Trailer.... Tomorrow

So we got another one of these trailers for a trailer. I'm guessing this is a thing now that's not going away anytime soon. Anyway, it's for Sony's upcoming "Spider-Man Homecoming" which though is a Sony movie, it does take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We got about a six second trailer that is a teaser for the actual trailer that comes out tomorrow. In it we get to see Spider-Man use one of his famous spider tracers, which actually looks pretty cool, even though it is a different take on the spider-trinket. We also get to see the Vulture kicking the wall-crawler into the turbine of a passenger jet and it going all explodey. We also have USA Today talking to director John Watts and him saying that this Spider-Man will be more of a "regular Joe" compared to the heroes of the Marvel studios movies we are used to. They also put up this first picture of Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes, the Vulture sans costume. Michael Keaton still has a face that was just made to play comic book characters. Until tomorrow though this little taste is what your stuck with. What do you think of the teaser trailer to a trailer thing? Do you like this idea or is it something you rather see go? Let us know in the comments.

Chris Evans Fires Back at Rumors

Chris Evans has spoken out to "Collider" about the news that he may walk away from the shield once his contract is up. He went on record as saying, "It's really not up to me. My contract is up. I'm not going to sit here and say, no more. I think Hugh Jackman has made 47 Wolverine movies and they somehow keep getting better.. It's a character I love and it's a factory that really knows what they're doing. The system is sound over there. They make great movies. If they weren't kicking out quality I'd have a different opinion, but everything Marvel does seems to be cinema gold and like I said, I love the character. The only reason it would end is cuz my contract is up. After Avengers 4 my contract is done." He also went on to say that he would be totally open to discussing the idea of continuing as the First Avenger saying, "If we engage further I'd be open to it I love the character." So there you go Captain America himself telling us that we do not have to worry he will if he can still be the leader to our Avengers as long as they'll have him. So what do you think now that we know he wants to stay do we want him or do we want to give someone else a try if the shield? Me, I'm all for Chris Evans for life. iF he wants to pull off the Wolverine thing we'll let him.

Guardians 3 Will Happen

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 hasn't even hit theaters yet & James Gunn is already talking Vol 3. While making press rounds for "The Belko Experiment", James Gun has told Complex that he is already thinking Guardians Vol 3. While not confirming himself as director he let everyone know it is not only on the table, it is definitely happening. Don't know what a Guardians will be without James Gunn so I definitely hope he still stays involved in one way or another. Even more though, I want an Awesome Mix Vol. 3.

Chris Evan Hangin up the Shield?

Heard on Collider News today that in an interview with Esquire Chris Evans seemed to tell them that after the second "Avengers: Infinity War", his contract will be fulfilled, & he will be hanging up the shield. That's Avengers part 4 for those keeping count the old fashioned way. Not everyone can be Wolverine. That's not me being ungrateful either. Thank you Chris Evans for your amazing portrayal as the First Avenger. I also want to point out these exact words did nit come out of his mouth so it could be taken with a grain of salt as it could be Esquire over-reading. I'm just hoping this isn't a backwards way to get more pay. I'm figuring it's not as this isn't the first time I've heard him toying with the idea. Then again he's also said he'd play Cap forever. If anything is true of this though, I'm guessing this is his way to soften the blow of a death scene in the future. As we tend to be pretty protective of the loss of our on screen heroes.

Asgardian Breakup

Would they be Thoster or Thane? It won't matter now anyways. According to EW, there has been a breakup in the world of Marvel movies. Thor & Jane Foster have called it quits. Marvel head Kevin Feige quotes: "We wanted Thor to encounter somebody that was near his equal & that his relationship with Jane may have evolved in unexpected ways in-between "The Dark Word" & Ragnarok and we wanted to pit him against a character who was much more his equal & in many ways his superior." He goes on to mention Valkyrie wanting nothing to do with her heritage, Thor thinking it will bond them, & her on the complete opposite side just wanting to forget it altogether. As superhero stories go though, at least they didn't kill her off.
