Sneak Peak "Woody's Lunchbox" Is Gonna Get You Really Hungry

Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios opens June 30th, & with it comes Woody's Lunchbox . Hopefully this will be the answer to the Hollywood Studios quick-service lackluster lineup as of now. Being the only park at Disneyworld where I have this problem, I was pleasantly surprised when Disney Parks Blog put up this sneak peek of the upcoming food selections we'll find when this new park opens. Most of all is what sounds likely new favorite breakfast, the S’more French Toast Breakfast Sandwich. Chocolate ganache- and marshmallow-stuffed French toast topped with graham cracker crumbles. I'm not waiting for this one. I'm trying my luck at whipping up this myself. You'll also find the Smoked Turkey, Eggs, Swiss, Peppers, and Onions on Sourdough , an amazing sounding Breakfast Bowl consisting of potato barrels (I'm guessing tater tots?), brisket-country gravy, and scrambled eggs, & what sounds like my favorite non chocolate sandwich of the menu, the BBQ Brisket Melt, Texas-style smoked brisket features cheddar, Monterey Jack, pickles, and BBQ sauce on garlic butter-grilled sourdough. Mmmmm. More sandwich options include a Smoked Turkey, Tomato, and Lettuce on Multigrain Bread  & Monte Cristo with Raspberry Jam , but it's Totchos that really caught my eye. Combining nachos & tots, they've got potato barrels, corn chips, chili, and cheese, I'm totally making this too now. Sides will include tomato basil soup, vegetable macaroni salad, and potato barrels. Mini Babybel snack cheese, the official snack cheese of Walt Disney World Resort, is also an option to eat with your meal or as an on-the-go snack. The desserts look delicious as well. You've got their version of a Pop-tart, the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart garnished with Icing and Dried Fruit and Chocolate-Hazelnut Lunch Box Tart garnished with Icing and Caramelized Bacon . Just the name of those will make your mouth water. Those will be joined by a Banana Split Yogurt Parfait  & Soda Floats . All of this anchored by my new must-have, the Alien Sipper. Which can be filled with any fountain drink or the signature Mystic Portal Punch – Powerade Mountain Berry Blast with flavors of lemon-lime and tangerine. Big toys can enjoy the backyard with Grown-Up’s Lemonade cocktail (cherry vodka, Odwalla Lemonade, and black cherry purée), beer, or hard cider. If this food is good as it looks, the rest of Hollywood Studios is really going to have to step their game up to get on this level. What do y'all think? Is your stomach rumbling yet? The "it's a small world" Attraction In Tokyo Disneyland Looks Amazing With Disney Characters

I hope they do this here at Disneyworld. This just turned it's a small world into a Disney themed Easter egg hunt. I actually like this ride, but I've never enjoyed it like I just did watching this. WDW News Today put up this awesome video of the new updates given to it's a small world in Tokyo Disneyland, & I've already watched it twice. This attraction recently reopened with a Disney*Pixar overhaul, adding over 40 characters from our favorite films. I don't want to list them all, because that's part of the fun of watching. I will mention my favorite three though: Hercules with Pegasus, Timon & Pumbaa, & Dory with friends got me because they just came out if nowhere. Great little look at these new additions. Something New Walking Around Pandora: The World of Avatar

It's no secret how much I love Animal Kingdom's Pandora: The World Of Avatar. Ever since opening day, this has become one of my favorite places in the world. Or off the world, however you look at it. The level of immersion is nothing short of spectacular. My last visit I noticed something though. Besides the Drum Circle, there's no interaction with natives of the land. It's in Disneyworld, so shouldn't there be some kind of characters roaming around? Well as usual, Disney must have heard the thoughts in my head because this just popped up today. That cool power-walker thingy everyone takes pics with? Now it looks like someone will be walking one through the park. Or a toned down version at least. Talk about a  awesome photo op. I just wish we all got the pleasure of manning one of these now. I at least want one for home. That thing's friggin awesome. There's also a making of the exo-suit video explaining why this one is different from the more war-monger like exo-suits from the film. "Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse" Now Has A Pricetag

D23 is celebrating Mickey's 90th birthday with Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse taking place at the Contemporary at Walt Disney World Resort, & now it officially has a price tag. D23 Gold members can get a ticket for the bargain price of $215 per person, or $1,300 if you're feeling VIP. There's a bunch of really cool stuff lined up, like exclusive stores, panels, & even a movie night. Most interesting to myself is a Mickey exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives, & a sneak peek of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railroad attraction coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios. As of right now, unless I'm telling real celebratey for one reason or another this pricetag is a little too steep for me. Sounds fun though, here's the details as they appeared from D23:

The event will take place November 17–18, 2018, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort.

You will be required to show a photo ID. Members will be required to show their D23 Membership Card.

Check Out The New Character Costumes For "Donald's Dino-Bash"

Disney's Animal Kingdom is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year, & May 25th they're kicking off Donald's Dino-Bash . Join Donald, Daisy, Scrooge, Launchpad, Pluto, Chip, & Dale as they party in Dino-Land U.S.A.. Disney just released this concept art of the characters new costumes for the celebration. Donald & Daisy have some cool, new dino-inspired threads, but I'm really loving Chip & Dale in their full out costumes. First Look At What We Can Expect From Inside The Millennium Falcon Ride!

An in-progress sequence from the Millennium Falcon attraction has been unveiled, & Nvidia put up this pic as well as some details on what we can expect from this ride when we visit Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when it opens next year. The pic's a little lackluster, but the over technical details are amazing. Produced by ILMxLAB, & running in real time, this was the first glimpse of the highly immersive attraction. Walt Disney Imagineering teamed with Nvidia & Epic Games to develop the new tech. Riders will enter the cockpit, which much like Mission: Space  will have buttons & knobs, giving you the chance to "pilot" the Falcon. Here's where it gets technical though. The cockpit will be powered with a single BOXX chassis packed witheight high-end NVIDIA Quadro P6000 GPUs, connected via Quadro SLI. Quadro Synch will synchronize five projectors for creating ultra-high resolution & perfectly timed displays to fully immerse guests in planet Batuu. The team created a custom multi-GPU implementation for Unreal Engine. Anyone who plays games knows what that is. “We worked with NVIDIA engineers to use Quadro-specific features like Mosaic and cross-GPU reads to develop a renderer that had performance characteristics we needed,” says Bei Yang, technology studio executive at Disney Imagineering. “Using the eight connected GPUs allowed us to achieve performance unlike anything before.” Most of that was even too technical for me, but from what I got out of it, this definitely is not going to be your average simulator. Five projectors? This is one of my most anticipated parts of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I can't wait for more on this. What do ya'll think? Does this sound awesome? Marvel Heroes Are Invading Disney Parks Around The World

So, I've missed a couple things in the few days I've been away. The biggest of which being this huge announcement from Disney Parks Blog. Three themed areas will be coming to Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, & Hong Kong Disneyland, placing guests right in the middle of some superhero action. Developed in partnership with Marvel Studios & Marvel Themed Entertainment, beginning in 2020, Disney California Adventure will be continuing its evolution. With a new experience taking place of "a bug's land", & to be anchored by Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!,  you'll be joined by the Guardians of the Galaxy,  Spider-Man, & the Avengers in this new land. Meanwhile, the Marvel-themed area coming to Walt Disney Studio Park at Disneyland Paris will include the reimagined Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster into a hyper-kinetic adventure where you'll team up with Iron-Man & the Avengers. This opens in 2020, but now they have "Summer of Super Heroes" running from June 10th to September 30th. Where you can catch the heroes in a stage production featuring "cutting-edge special effects & spectacular projections." Last but not least, you've got Hong Kong Disneyland, where Iron Man Experience has become the resorts most popular attraction. Their expansion plan is already been put in motion with a new attraction teaming you with Ant-Man & The Wasp against Arnim Zola & an army of Hydra bots. This sounds amazing on so many levels. 2020 is starting to sound like a really good time to plan a trip finally to Disneyland. Who knows? That's a couple years. It could be enough time for me to think about traveling abroad to The Disney Parks of other nations even. The 8 year old me is going absolutely nuts that this is even happening in the first place. Superheroes in Disneyland? Brought to life like Disney does? Seriously? It's hard to wrap my own head around that I love I  a time where this is all possible now. Anyway, what do y'all think? Concept Art For Incredicoaster Proves You Can Theme A Rollercoaster

This is so freakin' cool. When I first heard the concept for Disney California Adventure's re-tooled Incredicoaster opening June 23rd with PIXAR Pier, I couldn't figure out how you would theme a rollercoaster with that open, classic design? Then Marla Jo Fisher wrote this awesome article for the Orange County Register with these shots of concept art that is detailing just that. The article lays out the whole story for the upcoming attraction's update, & it looks incredible. The beauty of the theming is it all takes place on a rollercoaster. Apparently Jack Jack is too small to ride, & gets sent to the VIP Lounge. Obviously not happy about it, he uses his powers to escape, taking his own path through the coaster. Giving us the theme of save baby Jack Jack. Then the speed launch will shoot the 24 passenger cars from zero to 55mph in four seconds. Following that, you'll race through 3 updated, inclosed "scream tunnels". One going up, one at the top split between up & down, & the last going down. I collaged the pics of concept art at the bottom, & from what I can tell, it looks like this is going to be done with projection tech, like what they use on the castles for their new shows. That parts just me guessing though. Through this you get Dash showing off his speed in tunnel one, Elastigirl stretching through the upside of tunnel two with Mr. Incredible resorting to cookie bribery on the downside, & ending with an awesome looking shot of Violet's forcefield in the final tunnel. All this to save a runaway Jack Jack. I never thought this would look so cool. Like I said, I never dreamed this level of theming could be on an open coaster. When I say open, by the way, I mean that it's not surrounded by theming, a la Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, or the Mine Train. This first look is not only incredible, it gets me all kind of excited for what to expect from the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster coming to Epcot in a couple years. What do y'all think though? Disney Releases Concepts For "PIXAR Pier" Eateries

These are hands down the coolest eateries I've ever seen. I want something from every one of 'em. Straigjt from WDW News Today, June 23rd these awesome food stands will open with PIXAR Pier in Disney California Adventure. My favorite has to be the Poultry Palace. Who doesn't want to order food from a giant kid's meal box? There's even a tiny Zurg outside. A lemon snow cone will be one of the frozen treats at Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats so you can eat the yellow snow. Angry Dogs will feature Anger from Inside Out , & give the ability to add some spice to your hot dogs. And last but not least, it wouldn't be Disney without churros. Here you'll get your fix at Senor Buzz Churros, a stand inspired by Buzz Lightyear's Spanish function from Toy Story 3 . It'll probably be a while before I can make it out to the other coast for some Disneyland action. Better believe when I do though, I'll be hitting all of these. What do y'all think of these concepts? Construction Video Gives A Sense Of The Massive Scale Of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Disney Park put up this video of how the construction's coming along on Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland, Ca. Until this video I didn't have a real sense of the scale of this project. Galaxy's Edge is going to be huge. I don't know if it's my eyes playing trick, but this place seems to dwarf Pandora in Disney's Animal Kingdom. This is about how far the progress was the first time I saw Pandora actually. Leaving me to wonder what exactly is going to be visible when I visit Hollywood Studios next weekend? #FollowTheBall To Hollywood Studios Toy Story Land

This was a really cool way to bring attention to the June 30th opening date for Toy Story Land In Hollywood Studios. Disney invited all to #FollowTheBall as it made it's way there. These videos of the Pixar ball rolling through different Toy Story teases were really fun. From the "live action" versions to the Slinky Dog following the ball home, I really liked these commercials. The last one gives a look at the entrance to the new land. I can't wait. We'll be there day 1 so everyone can get a look as soon as this opens.

Major Expansion Announced For Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has not seen development like this since 1992. This morning Disney Chairman & CEO, Bob Iger announced a multi-year, 2 billion euro expansion, transforming Walt Disney Studios Park. Three new areas will be added based on Marvel, Frozen,  & of course, Star Wars.  A new lake will be the focal point for entertainment experiences, & connect the three areas. Phases will start rolling out in 2021, most likely with the previously announced reimagining of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith into an Iron-Man adventure. All these developments in Disney Parks around the world are not just awesome, they're giving me time to save up enough money to check this new stuff. Check Out Progress At Toy Story Land In Both Orlando & Shanghai!!

Wow! Disney Parks just put up this look at all the progress so far for Toy Story Land In both Shanghai Disneyland & Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Last week we found out they'll be opening in Hollywood Studios on June 30th, & now we get a look at a little of what to expect in action. Though I'm not as excited about this as say, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, I have a feeling that will change when I get a real sense of the scale of the place. It looks huge! Slinky Dog's starting to grow on me a little now too. It's ride just looks so smooth. I still say, I'm a little more impressed by the look of Shanghai's version, but in all honesty, I'm totally blown away by everything I see in that park. Save The Date! Toy Story Land To Open June 30!

I know where I'm going to be June 30th!! Hollywood Studios for the opening of Toy Story Land. While it's not Pandora, & definitely no Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the idea of being shrunk down to the size of a toy does sound pretty awesome. Funny thing is I have a feeling this is going to blow me away, as I have pretty mediocre expectations for it in the first place. Gonna give it the full treatment though when it opens though. We'll be talkin' rides, food, merch, & just overall atmosphere & immersion level. Personally out of everything I've heard so far, I can't wait to get an old fashioned float. However, that said, I'm very curious about the Aliens Flying Saucers, & that Slinky Dash coaster is starting to grow on me the more I see it in action. It looks so smooth on the track. All The Disney Park Announcements From D23 Expo Japan

While definitely not as big as last year's D23 Expo, this year in Japan we got some more on last year's developments, as well as some pretty significant new developments. Of course there's also plenty of concept art to go with. First of all, we now have a date for the opening of Pixar Pier. June 23, 2018 is the official date to visit the four new neighborhoods representing Pixar stories with newly themed attractions, food, merchandise, & the rebranding of the Incredicoaster. I wish I could make it over there for this. It sounds pretty amazing.

Speaking of Pixar Pier, there was also this awesome concept art for the new float to be joining the Paint the Night parade. It will feature characters from The Incredibles, showcasing their powers with high-tech, pop-art effects. I'm not one to get excited for a float but this one looks, well, incredible.

After that attention switched over to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. They revisited the Star Wars themed hotel that will join the land. Now we learned the hotel will be a luxury hotel that will not only feature a fully immersive adventure, but it will be seamlessly connected to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge letting the full immersion continue into the park. Speaking if the park they released some things to expect. The lands will feature a life size Millennium Falcon, as well as a full size fleet of X-Wings. Them there's the two attractions to be featured mentioned again. With the chance to fly the Falcon, & the ability to stand on a Star Destroyer in the middle of a First Order/Resistance battle.

After Star Wars, the attention was shifted to Marvel where we found out the new Guardians of the Galaxy  themed  coaster coming to Epcot will be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world. Following that awesome revelation, Disneyland Paris was informed their Rock n Roller Coaster, a personal favorite of mine, will be getting a total reimagining where you'll now team up with Iron-Man & The Avengers. This is really cool, but if they follow suit in Hollywood Studios, I'll really miss the music of Aerosmith throughout the coaster.

Hong Kong will get in on the Marvel action as well. They already have the Iron-Man Experience, & now you will be able to team up with Ant-Man & The Wasp to fight Arnim Zola & a army of Hydra Swarm bots. That's all the details but this attraction got most of the cool concept art.

Last but definitely not least we get some concept art for one I'm really looking forward to.  The first ever Mickey Mouse themed ride through attraction, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. Opening in Hollywood Studios in 2019 this will take place of one of my all-time favorites, The Great Movie Ride. This ride will zap us right in the middle of an original story, Mickey Mouse cartoon short.

No Name Change For Hollywood Studios & New Toy Story Land Concept Art

A lot of sites have been recently talking about a name change for Disney's Hollywood Studios to Cinemagine Park. This was from the supposed list if names from a good while back, which were all pretty horrible. I wasn't going to talk about it until confirmation, & I'm very happy to say it's not going to happen anyway. Due to all the reports to the contrary, Disney Parks Blog wanted to let everyone know that Disney's Hollywood Studios will be named just that for the foreseeable future. As a consolation prize we were given this concept pic of the upcoming Aliens Flying Saucers  from this summer's Toy Story Land. Don't really know what to take from the pic l, as there is a lot going on there. It looks like a cross between the old flying saucers from way back Disneyland, bumper cars, & Luigi's Tire Ride from current Disneyland. I've never been to Disneyland, so I can't really pull from experience. Sometimes these concept art pieces come off too animated to really get ahold of what's real. Still it looks bright, big, & fun no matter what. The real thing here is thank the makers we don't have to attend Toy Story Land in Cinemagine Park. What do y'all think though? Walt Disney World Has An "Incredible Summer" Lined Up For 2018

All four parks at the Walt Disney Resort are taking part in what they're calling Incredible Summer . Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, & Frozone of the Incredibles will be taking over Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. They will also be joined by superhero costume designer Edna Mode in her debut appearance. If that's not enough each night will feature a "SUPER" dance party on the Rocket Tower Stage. Is it bad that I'm probably going to make my way here just to get a pic with Edna Mode? Epcot's getting ready for their future with StarLord & Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy  will join an extraterrestrial band jamming out to hits from my personal favorite soundtracks ever put together, Awesome Mix Tapes 1 & 2 . Meanwhile, over at Animal Kingdom they'll be celebrating their 20th anniversary. They'll be debuting a new bird show featuring Russell & Dug from UP! , titled Adventurers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure. I'll be honest, I usually skipped the previous bird show, & thus one will probably suffer the same fate. I will however, check out a "dino-tastic" celebration withb Donald Duck taking over Dinoland, U.S.A. in a new character celebration. Disney Springs AMC will feature Incredibles 2  starting June 15th, but it all really caps off with the Grand Opening of Toy Story Land  in Disney's Hollywood Studios. All this set to begin May 25th, 2018. I will so be there for Toy Story Land's opening. Needless to say, details will come. What do y'all think though? Does this sound like it lives up to the name? "Tokyo Disney Resort 35th 'Happiest Celebration'" Kicks Off April 15th

Tokyo Disney's 35th "Happiest Celebration" will take place April 15th through March 25th, marking the 35th anniversary of the Grand Opening of Tokyo Disneyland Park. While it doesn't quite excite me as much as FanDaze in Paris, it still looks like a pretty awesome time. It will kick off at Tokyo Disneyland Park with the premiere of "Dreaming Up!", a new daytime parade taking you to a world of fantasy & imagination. Main Street in World Bazaar will be transformed into Celebration Street for the duration of the celebration. My favorite part of this though, is the 40 new figures based on Disney films that will be added to "it's a small world". Tokyo DisneySea will debut characters in new costumes for a new show called "Happiest Celebration on the Sea". Not the most original with names I'm seeing. From July 10th, there will be a show at Cinderella Castle that seems like a mash-up of Fantasmic & Happily Ever After shows stateside called "Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland". They'll also have a show called "Let's Party Gras" at Theater Orleans, with DisneySea having "Hello, New York!" at the Dockside Stage. I'd definitely have to hit the Party Gras if I was there. They're also going to have special menus, 35th anniversary merchandise, & a limited period shop specializing in Chocolate Crunch, a classic Tokyo Disney Resort souvenir. All & all this sounds like a lot of fun, no FanDaze, but a lot of fun nonetheless. What do y'all think though? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Count Yourself Lucky If You Find Yourself At Disneyland Paris June 2 For FanDaze

Why does there have to be so much water between myself & Disneyland Paris? I would totally be there for this if not. What's this? FanDaze! For one night only at the Walt Disney Studios Park on June 2 there'll be an awesome Disney celebration with exclusive new shows, rare Disney character encounters, original dining menus, a chance to hear from Imagineers, & more. This will be a one-of-a-kind hard ticket event. Out of everything I'm going to list that will be involved in this celebration, this is the one that gets me the most excited. 50+ Disney characters will be visiting the park. Characters from Monsters Inc., The Emperor's New Groove, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Incredibles, Hercules, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, & Big Hero 6. Just to name a few, we're talkin' George Sanderson, Needleman, Kuzco, Kronk, Quasimodo, Esmerelda, Mr. & Mrs. Incredible, & Frozone. Even classic characters Horace Horescollar, Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck, & a first ever park appearance from Ortensia, friend of Oswald the Rabbit! With new outfits to debut, & rumor of more than a dozen Heroes & Villains on top of that, I know how I'd be spending my day. The entertainment comes a close second with a Dance Your DuckTales Parade, PJ's Party, & Jumba & Pleakley's Mission: Stitch! interactive show. Then on the Production Courtyard stage rock out with Max-Live! Getting Goofy With It nighttime spectacular. The Farewell Street Party will close everything off with more than 80 Disney characters. Of course there will also be original menus with special foods throughout the park & limited-edition merchandise, but you'll also have a chance to enter a grand raffle for a night at Disneyland Hotel's Sleeping Beauty Suite. Like I said if there wasn't so much water separating me from Paris, you couldn't keep me away from this. This looks amazingly, awesomely, spestastic! What do y'all think?
