I've been waiting for a good Avengers game for a long time. I've got my fingers crossed this will be it. The story's cool, the synopsis matches up with the trailer. It goes, "Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes." Like I said, sounds good, I just can't put my finger on what feels off. It's a little weird for the characters to be so heavily themed to the films, but not the actors from the film for one. I could get around that though. I think the big thing holding this one back for me is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. In comparison this game dosen't hit the want factor that one does. Maybe it's a cannon story vs. a non-cannon story, this feels it isn't pushing next gen too hard, or a lack of Avengers. I don't know. While I want to give this a play, I'm not highly anticipating it as I though I would. Maybe when I do I'll find out there's way more to it than this trailer. I hope so. What about y'all? Does this do it for y'all? Are you more excited about this or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? Put it in the comments, like, & share.Read More
This clip from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon might be the best quick way to get ready for Avengers: Endgame. I loved The Marvel Bunch, but this blows it away. It dosen't help this is one of my alltime favorite songs I'm sure, but this was amazingly awesome. I expected it to be funny, I wasn't expecting a full Marvel recap however. Really cool. Worth 2 minutes of your time to check out.Read More
So while this new spot for Avengers: Endgame doesn't really show us much new footage, it does tell us some new info on the mission. Captain America's pep talk to his fellow Avengers let's us know they're splitting up into teams. This means the battle is going to be waged on multiple fronts most likely. Which for me only adds to the epicness of a "for everything" battle scene. This spot also ends on a hilarious exchange with Rocket & Ant-Man. Great quick spot, but can this just go ahead & happen already. The 25th seems so far away. What do y'all think of this whole multi-front battle angle? Put it in the comments, like, and share.
How much money is Disney putting into Disney+ ? The future streaming service has announced numerous endeavors including a series based on Loki, Vision & Scarlet Witch, & Winter Soldier & Falcon. Now a Variety exclusive just added Hawkeye to that list as well. It's said to be showing him mentor his daughter, Kate Bishop to take up the mantle. Jeremy Renner will be reprising his role in the series. As usual on these, no comment from Disney, but this is exciting. We're getting a whole miniature MCU on Disney+, & I can't wait. Disney+ is already a must have & it hasn't even released yet.Read More
A lot of settling went into the battle for my tickets this morning as all apps were pretty much in lockup while fans went crazy trying to secure their spots. Meanwhile, this "special look" trailer dropped, to announce said tickets for what has probably become the most anticipated event of the year. And what a special look it was! We finally get see Cap & Iron Man together for the first time since they went at it in Civil War, & so much more. I'll probably watch this thing 50 more times, as there were so many things jammed into this minute my head was about to explode trying to take it all in. Thanos, a spaceship piloted by Captain Marvel, & probably more misdirection than we can even imagine. Great quick look, that made me wonder if the Russos were still only feeding us stuff from the first act? Not to mention that scene where Tony asks Cap if he trusts him sure does look like the same spot in New York where he fought Ebony Maw. So many questions, but only 23 days until they're all answered. Great trailer though. I'm pumped up to a level of anticipation I'm not sure I've ever had. That said, what did y'all think of this trailer? Anything I might've missed? Throw it in the comments, like, & share.Read More
Where the last trailer for Avengers: Endgame felt like it was all about how this bridges from Infinity War, this new one is more about bridging everything we've seen from the start of the MCU as a whole. Dug seein' the new suits. Apparently, geared for space travel or Quantum Realm time travel. Lord knows there's been plenty of theories. These are on point to the concept art a long while back that people where questioning the truth of. Loved the epicness of going all the way back to the beginnings & stringing them into the now. There's now no doubt in my mind Hawkeye/Ronin loses everything in the snap. My favorite part of this trailer however, is the interaction between Thor & Captain Marvel. Absolutely loved it. Anyway, loved this trailer, & as usual with MCU trailers, I'm glad they're not showing us much. Mainly they just build on the scenes they've already shown. I've also got to mention though, not sure what to believe after all the deception found in the Captain Marvel trailer vs the actual film. Curious though, what are y'all's thoughts? Put 'em in the comments, like, & share.
In a Collider exclusive, The Hustle's Jac Shaeffer's original script for Black Widow is getting a rewrite. According to them Marvel has hired on The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby writer, Ned Benson. Now some people get real nervous when scripts start getting rewrote, but this early in I'm kinda all for it. To me this means they're really trying to get the best final product they can, & they're taking it real seriously. Cate Shortland of Lore is tapped to direct with the great Kevin Feige producing as usual. The film's been reported to take place before the first Avengers film. For me, hopefully giving a sort of origin story to the character. In fact I'd love for it to tackle what made her such a bad ass, & tie it right into where she comes into contact with Fury & S.H.I.E.L.D.. We won't know until its release obviously, but that's at least what I'm hoping for. What about y'all? What do y'all want from a Black Widow standalone? For that matter, do y'all want a Black Widow standalone in the first place? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
First was the Superbowl TV spot for Avengers: Endgame . Now we get another for Captain Marvel . Matching the same intensity of the Endgame trailer, jamming a whole lot into 30 seconds, & at the same time not showing much more than we've already seen. In fact, besides Coulson & Fury going airborne, I could only catch scenes we've already seen. Maybe stretched out one way or another, but nothing really new. The quick scene jump is really working for these though. It delivers in 30 seconds a more appealing trailer than we've got in all the longer ones in my opinion. Both these trailers seem to have an intensity to them that let's you know something big is going down. If you can't tell I really dug this look. Even if it was missing Goose the cat. What'd y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Here's our next look at Avengers: Endgame that came out for Superbowl Sunday. It's definitely a blink & you'll miss it look, but I'm cool with that. I don't really want to see a lot of this one. At least, until I'm sitting in the theater. In this quick look though, we do get a couple big things. We get a look at a rather empty world left behind by Thanos. Half empty to be exact. We also see a quick glimpse of Tony Stark & Nebula helping each other to piece together their space shuttle. They also give us a shot of the remaining Avengers following Captain America. I'll have to watch this a few more times to see if I blinked & missed anything else. All in all, I like that they kept it small here. Awesome trailer to be crammed into 30 seconds. Check it out. If you catch anything big I missed let me know. Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Wow..... Wow. Wow. Wow. This trailer was everything I wanted it to be & more. I thought it was just going to be a teaser. Figured it was definitely going to end after Tony/Iron Man's message is space, but no. It just kept going. Finally giving us the title, & yes, it's one of the heavily rumored ones, Avengers: Endgame. This is how you launch off something this big. This gave me goosebumps. In fact, I've never had a preview put me through so many emotions all at once. If you want to know why I wasn't totally feelin' the Captain Marvel trailer, this is why. This is the caliber of trailer we should be at. I should want to jump up & see the film now, & not now, but right now. I could do with just this, & absolutely no more until this film come out. Perfect opening trailer. All the feels, & then ending on a comedic note. Loved it!! I can't even say anything else. Just hurry & come out! What do y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
The first description of the untitled Avengers 4 has been spotted in the latest issue of License Global. The new May issue included this vague synopsis for the film: “A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.” Afterwards, the internet has gone crazy with speculation. Even mentioning the illuminati, which would have to be reinvented, a handful a characters are absent from that usual lineup. I'm still leaning towards Secret Wars. That sounds like the best place to take it coming off Infinity War , but only they know for sure. This synopsis does seem to elude to a multiverse fueled film, with it's talk of reality. If that's the case, literally anything can happen. The more I think about it, I'd love to see that. Different versions of what we have now trying to get back right sounds awesome. Anyway, does this pique anyone else's curiosity? Any thoughts as to what's next? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
I watched this last night right before I went to the theater to see Avengers: Infinity War, & throughout the whole film I had this stuck in my head. The cast of Avengers had some fun on The Tonight Show, & came up with this absolute gem. I don't know how many times I giggled throughout this movie thinking about this. Anyway, have fun, I'm gonna go work on my first NO SPOILER thoughts of the film. #ThanosDemandsYourSilence
Star Wars isn't going to be the only game anymore when it comes to cannon reading materials. Marvel's getting into the mix with a novel outlining the back story to the so far mysterious Mad Titan of Avengers: Infinity War. Inside the Magic reports that this November you'll be able to get your hands on the cinematic origins of Thanos. Written by Barry Lyga, here's the official summary of Thanos: Titan Consumed:
Space. Reality. Mind. Power. Time. Soul.
Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots…
Only beings of immense power can hope to wield these stones, but for those who are worthy, the powers of a god await.
Thanos is one such being. But he wasn’t always.
Born on a doomed world and cast out by his people for his genius, physical deviancy, and pragmatic but monstrous ideas, Thanos is determined to save the galaxy from the same fate as his homeworld… no matter how many billions have to die.
Learn the origins of the most formidable foe the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther have ever faced—a foe whom even a group of remarkable people, pulled together to fight the battles nobody else could, will fail to stop….
Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.
Thanos is here
Does this sound awesome or what? I've read almost all if the Star Wars new canon since Disney took over, & so far, I've enjoyed all of them. Since more than others, but I haven't found a bad one yet. Hopefully, this is a start for Marvel to weave in some extra background for us crazy fans, who just what more & more. It's hard to please people who want to know everything your world has to offer just in a film's time. This allows to go into things that don't fuel the progression of a story. It's like those video game side missions, that sometime wind up being cooler than your actual game. Anyway, I can't wait to get my hands on this. What do y'all think? Will y'all be reading the history of Thanos? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Every time Marvel releases one of these behind-the-scenes featurettes I can't help but see how much fun it looks like everyone involved is having. This new one for Avengers: Infinity War is no exception. How much these people enjoy making these films, & the immediate chemistry displayed between each & every cast member shows why these films have only gotten better for 10 years now. Not only that, but I'm beginning to suspect that Chris Hemsworth is never, not Thor. I'm really starting to think that's just him all the time. These are always fun to watch though, love seeing how much passion Robert Downey Jr. has for this franchise. Enjoy this as much as I did, let me know what you think. This is great!! The Russo brothers just tweeted out this image of a letter being delivered by Thanos. They have a really good point too. I've been noticing in the slew of TV trailer spots for Avengers: Infinity War last week, that they're playing any extra details from this film close to the chest coming to it's April 27th release date. Besides teenage Groot, there was only a smidgen of new stuff among 3 or 4 spots. Knowing that I really do hope people can listen to the Mad Titan as he demands silence upon spoilers for this film. I think there's going to be some big surprises. Bravo for the letter idea, I thought was hilarious. Any thoughts? Put em in the comments, like, & share.
Marvel Studios has just dropped the newest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War , & it shows exactly why this is my most anticipated film this year. I've already watched this thing three times & it's been up less than 20 minutes. I can't even pick a favorite moment. It's somewhere in between Star Lord & Iron Man coming up with a plan, or the Spider-Man/Dr. Strange introduction. That action looks like it's on an epic Lord of the Rings scale. The craziest part about that statement? I'm doubting they've showed us anything that happened past the 30 minute to an hour mark. I'm betting this is tame compared to what's to come when we see the whole thing on April 27th. Also really cool is you get a blink & you'll miss it shot of Thanos' "Black Order". That's his crew of super villains. In fact, you get a really good look at the finished product for that Ebony Maw vs Dr. Strange scene we saw pics for last year behind the scenes. He looks awesome. All the heroes going to war in Wakanda looks awesome. Hell, this whole friggin' trailer looks awesome. I can't wait, & though they didn't show him much, apparently Hulk plays a big part in this who me thing. According to Ruffalo, Banner has a lot more control now, Hulk will use simple sentences now, & he will be bringing the warning of Thanos. He also touched on not really understanding the events of Civil War . Hulk was off planet so he & Banner see this from the outside looking in. Anyway, check out the trailer, & let me know what you think. Something this big will definitely be rolling over into Avengers 4. Put your thoughts in the comments, like, & share.
Couldn't wait for Avengers: Infinity War? Good, you just got your wish. Marvel has announced it's pushing the first part if the comic book film to end comic film's as we know it, up a week to April 27th. Making a lot of sense, as it puts a little more distance between it & Solo: A Star Wars Story. I'm excited. Mainly because the month of April was looking pretty lonely, now it's home to my most awaited film of the year. Gotta love when a film gets pushed up instead of back. Gotta love this new poster too just for laziness. The art dept. just said change the date on the old one & splash some color on it. What do y'all think? Sooner the better? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Want a sample of what's to come in Avengers: Infinity War ? Check out this video of Oct 7's class photo, celebrating 10 years of Marvel Studios. That stage is a sample of how many people we're talking about when Avengers: Infinity War hits this May 4th. 79 actors & filmmakers side by side, & you can see that the bigger portion of that make-up is actors. When you see them all together, you can't help but be blown away by the size of all of this. Here's to 10 more years just as amazing as the first 10. Thanks Marvel Studios! What do y'all think about this amazing gathering? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
Super Bowl spots are expensive on a whole crazy level. 30 seconds just isn't enough for an Avengers: Infinity War trailer though. Basically, this is enough time to scroll through the characters. There's a couple new shots, like Cap's Wakanda shield, & Iron Man's nano tech suit. Along with some switch ups to, look at this character with this character, & this one with these guys. I'm still excited for this film. In fact, this is probably my most anticipated film this year, & the trailer looks good. It just made me realize how precious time is going to be during this film. There are a lot of cogs in this machine, & this trailer made me see, it's going to be a real trick getting all those cogs to shine & stand out. Building an enormous cast of heroes up as well as trying to develop a villain on a worthy enough scale to face them all? That's a lot. This trailer just gave me a new perspective of thought on this film. Can't wait. What do y'all think? Put it in the comments, like, & share.
While we still don't get to see Thanos hurl a planet like the audience at D23, this trailer is kick ass. I should've recorded myself watching this one, because I've never been as excited through a trailer as I was this trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. Just seeing all these characters together got me going. Hell, was screaming by the end reveal. Stand outs? Thanos, by far Thanos. Just seeing him manhandle Iron Man & Spider-Man lets me know he's definitely going to be the threat he's been built up as. Did you see how huge he is? Then there's the new Spider-suit. We're getting closer & closer to that Iron-Spider suit from the comics. That thing was awesome! And the major stand out was it's looking like I hope you got your funny out with Guardians of the Galaxy 2 & Thor: Raganarok. This one looks like it's got some odds, & it's taking itself seriously this time around. I'm getting the vibe that we're going to see the Avengers on multiple fronts too. As opposed to the whole band getting back together. I'm sure that will happen eventually, but it really looked like they're starting in their separated places they were left off in Civil War. This looks way too big to sum up in this one film, so if I had to guess, no matter what it's named Avengers 4 will still be either dealing with this, or at least the effects of what happens here. Feige has recently said that 4 will end the Avengers story as it started from Iron Man, & set the Marvel Universe in another direction. I'm guessing that just means no after credits scenes for Avengers 4. Anyway, trailer is friggin' awesome, my only drawback is this don't come out today. Check it out, I really want to know what y'all think! Put it in the comments, like, & share.
