New “Onward" Trailer. Wait, It's About What Now?

I've been wondering what a post-Lasseter Pixar was going to look like. If these trailers for Onward have been any sign, I’m a little worried about what's to come. While this looks like it could be hilarious, & the animation looks great, the previews make it seem like it’ll be somewhat forgettable. Like a DreamWorks film. While they’re good, they don’t seem to stick around & pop up in my everyday life forever like Disney, Disney/Pixar films do. This new trailer gives us a look into the actual plot, & for me it takes yet another step into DreamWorks territory. When both the brother pass 16 their dad left them magic wand that can bring him to life for 1 day. However, when they try, they only bring back his bottom half. The 3 go on a quest to finish the spell & return their dad fully. The unicorns once again were favorite part of the trailer. The rest looks like it could be absolutely hilarious, with a great team in Pratt & Holland. I just don’t know if it's going to move past hilarious to the kind of thing we’re used to from Pixar. Fingers crossed though. I want to see Pixar keep churning out classics. Curious to hear what others think about this one though. Put it in the comments, like, & share.

How Did “Frozen II” Become One Of My Most Anticipated Films Of The Year?

I know I’ve been away for almost a month. I’m working out some things here & there, but I couldn't miss taking some time for this new trailer for Frozen II. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first film. I mean, I loved Olaf, but the film itself didn't hit me the way it seemed to hit everyone else. Over time as the hype died down & I had seen it a few more times it grew on me. I never thought I'd be highly anticipating a sequel though. Then came the first trailer. Elsa taking her role to save the kingdom in almost superhero fashion. This newest look just builds on that with a big shift to the adventure aspect. It basically doubles down on the first look. We get a sense of the plot through a story told to the children by their parents. Of an enchanted forest where something went horribly wrong. Once again seeming to be tied into the elements. Elsa is being drawn by a voice, inspiring this adventure. Once again, epic is the word to use. This looks epic. Turning this Princess tale into something more akin to Willow or Lord of the Rings than your usual Princess fare. Anyway, I can’t wait for this, & the inevitable songs it will bring with it that we won’t be able to forget if we try. What about y'all? Is everyone else on for this like I am? First Dumbo Trailer Has Arrived!!

A teaser is finally upon us for Disney's live-action Dumbo , & it looks amazing! It looks like a best of Tim Burton mash up going all the way back to Big Top Pee Wee . This was the live action film I've been most curious about. Burton's mark on a Dumbo? The idea intrigued me, & I'm loving how it looks in this teaser. Burton has a habit of overtly putting his mark all over his films. You can turn on later Burton films for a second & know they're his. The first thing I loved about this teaser is even though you can see his mark in spots, it seems more subtle like his older films. We've really got to address the elephant in the room though. Dumbo. I know when I first saw the pics earlier this year, I found them quite unsettling. Little soulless abomination, I think were my words. I did also say I reserved full judgment until I see him in motion, & once they breath life into him,  he's friggin adorable. Not much story wise to the trailer, but a real good sense of what to expect from the visuals. Even what looked like a pink elephant scene was thrown in there. This teaser did its job though. I'm now pretty pumped for this March 2019 release, which the description  reads as "the all-new grand live-action adventure “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets." There's definitely a lot more to this than the animated classic. I was kinda "meh" on this one until this teaser. What do y'all think? Did this do it for ya? Put it in the comments, like, & share.

Countdown To "Incredibles 2" With Two New Clips

I can't believe we're close to only a week away from Incredibles 2 . I got my tickets so long ago, I didn't even know we were this close. Disney*Pixar just released these 2 new clips for anyone that's still not quite on board. These clips fill in two scenes that have already been heavily featured in the trailers. Which is great in itself, just because we only spoil scenes we've basically already seen. Great movie marketing. These are great clips to extend on too. The cookie clip has Frozone seeing what Mr. Incredible has been going through while playing "Mr. Mom". This clip has some great one-liners in it, & if this is something we can hope to experience throughout.. we're in for a real treat. The second clip is more of the scene that I'm guessing opens the film. If so, probably the debut of Frozone this time around as well. Everyone really gets a chance to shine here, & I can't wait to see the rest of this action sequence. These have got me tallying down the days until next Wednesday. I signed up for the double feature, so I'm really going to get to see how this weighs against the first next Wesnesday. Anyway, what do y'all think of the clips? Put it in the comments, like, &

Love This New Trailer For "Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2"

Stormtroopers!!! I never thought I'd be saying I have to see Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2  would be stormtroopers!! This trailer has me begging for this film to hurry up & get here. Released along with this absolutely great new poster, November 21st I know where I'll be. Before that if I can. We finally get to see the princess footage from 2017's D23, & it's every bit as great as they say it was. I have a feeling none of us will look at the internet the same way after this. Speaking of which, comedy aside, I love the model of the internet used in this film. The way they bring the world to life is so amazing, this film dosen't even need plot beyond that. I could watch them aimlessly roam around this internet for hours. In fact, this would've even made an awesome series. There's literally no end to where they can go with this. I had so much fun with this trailer I'm probably going to watch it a third time when I'm done writing this. I can't wait to see this movie. You have to check this out. Let me know what y'all think of it when you're done. Put it in the comments, like, & share.
